A Way of Leaving the World that Nourishes the World

Today I heard of Jigme Norbu's death. I have known few people who both have and express the love they hold for their children in the ways he did. He was a solid rock, on many levels, and the delight he drew from being around his children filled me with a peaceful joy--the heaviness in my heart is only further evidence of this joy. I am left in awe of the love he carried. My heart is full.

I saw grief drinking a cup of sorrow
and called out, "It tastes sweet, does it not?"
"You've caught me," grief answered, "and
you've ruined my business. How can I
sell sorrow, when you know it's a blessing?"
